I went from loving Gears to hating Epic and wishing that gears never existed.
F*** you Epic and F*** you Gears for ruining such a great franchise.

Hell yeah!, it loses the atmosphere the game has. Going to be more shooter like, damn capcom. Stick to the Re4 controls, they were good.

Oh right. I confused Dead Aim and Survivor.
Great now they just have to:
1) change controls so you move with the left analogue and aim with the right (making your accuracy lower than RE4)
2) reduce game lenght to 6 hours an add pointless collectibles and achievements (so they can tell us they improved the replay value)
3) limit your arsenal so that you can only carry 2 weapons at a time (+ a worthless knife and grenades)
4) make the character walking speed slower than in the original RE (just like Gears)
5) add self recharging life, because that is what makes a game hardcore these days

If I wanted to play Gears, I'd buy Gears. If I want to play RE, I'll buy RE. Guess I'll just stick to the vastly superior RE4 for the Wii, and hope to G-d that they don't muck this game up. I would be totally happy with a RE4 clone, as RE4 was an awesome game, don't f--k it up Capcom.
The game appeals less and less to me as time passes.
It's already a 'maybe' title for me.
