I'm not sure you understand the true genius of the "sackboy as PS3 mascot" idea.  Sackboy can become anyone!  So Sony is automatically getting a way to turn their mascot into the main character for ANY BIG GAME they want to promote!  Except, like, GT5.  Maybe.  (If that's what you meant by 'showing them it's really a product for everyone', then I guess we're on the same page.)

Best of all, the SackCharacter will almost unavoidably be adorable.  We've already seen this with Nariko.  Even Kratos and the Helghast aren't far off the mark.  Japan is obsessed with cuteness in general and cute mascots specifically, so this should help them a lot there if it works.

Dont know very well whats coming to Japan for PS3 this fall ...theres Eternal Sonata ,theres X-Cross ,theres Tekken 6,theres Naruto and theres Gundam Musou 2.....5 big releases and if LBP is a it that could be 6.

 Eternal Sonata and X-Cross were already released in Japan since weeks ago...
