Pretty much what he said except that FF was my first and although FFIV holds a closer place to my heart, and I much more prefer it, I'll admit FFVI is the better game.

FFX comes in a not too distant third place.

Ok since were following the format. Beat it, absolutley loved it and played through it several times over. It's deffinitly one of the best ff titles to date (fingers crossed for a re-make).

FFVII destroys it...ok maybe not destroy...but it's def. better...it is the best by far.

For now, yeah, FFVI is the best. Once people have poured too much love into it like VII, though, they'll migrate to another FF to worship and wring the life out of that one.

I think IV is the best.  Great unified story, lots of betrayal and main-character deaths or near-deaths, and...

You go to the fucking moon in an advanced whale-shaped spaceship and fight aliens!

FF6 is the best. Only a gaming rookie would say that ff7 is better. But let's give FF7 its props. It's a solid second followed closely by 4.

And the rest are whatever.
