Forums - Gaming - A summer of gaming woe.

I did the unthinkable.... I went an entire summer without any games.

I gave my electric blue fat DS away to my little cousin knowing I would buy a DS lite anyway. I gave him all my games (Mario Kart, Pokemon Diamond, Metroid Prime Hunters).

Then my PSP screen cracked to the point where games were unplayble and I had just bought Crisis Core and GOW:COM. Suddenly I was more pressed to buy a new PSP than a DS.

But that was all ok because I still had my PS3 my favorite console evar then IT DIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a 60 gig and out of warranty so Sony charged me 150 bux to have it repaired ie the money for my new psp that was orignally for my new DS. I had just bought Oblivion and was ready to devote some serious time to COD4 online. But the thing died in early July and I just sent it off last week. I expect it back sometime next week but school will start by then and I will be to busy to play plus there are so many game I want to buy and play (Burnout, SCIV, Ratchet and Clank QFB). On top of that my harddrive will be formatted meaning I lost all my save files music and movies.

Of course through out all this my wii was fine and still working but I was bored of Brawl fast.

Now a new psp and Ds are off the radar until next year.

So instead of gaming all summer I was forced to hang with friends, drink, and party! Woe is me!

Around the Network

Well at least yours hasn't died twice! :P

Now that I think of it, I should move my Xbox 360 away from the heater... The face plate was like 50 degrees!

Tease.

I would have just sexed my way through the summer

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

Centigrade Right? As an American I did a double take (50 is cold in Farenheit).

And that just sucks man. Reminds me of when my PS2 and PS1 died in the same week, almost gave up console gaming.

Lol yea! At least with PCs you can scavenge parts off others. I ripped 3 computers apart to fix my broken gaming PC. I needed to play Age of Empires 3!

Tease.
