the ps3 will beat the 360 to a pulp this xmas in WW sales. i am expecting the gap to close in a lot more then that

The gap between 360s and PS3s sold to retail worldwide was 8.72 million at the end of 2006 and this decreased to 5.89 million by June 2008. Taking equal timeframes by June 2008 the PS3 sold 14.41 million, the 360 sold 11.6 million by June 2007.

I think it's well possible for the PS3 to reduce the gap by another couple of million before the end of this year.

I think the PS3 may well overtake the 360 worldwide retailer sales early next year (but IMO very likely before the end of 2009).

PS3 sales this christmas will greatly outsell 360 sales imo

It'll all come down to how successful the 360's price drop will be.

Because the present is bleak so the future has to shine.

This seems impossible, but we can expect around 4M

ps3 is better than 360 i would be expecting sales near to 2milion going into jan-march 2009, so that would mean ps3 would only need to sel 2million more than its rival in remainder of 2009 to overtake it. which in my opinion will be the greatesst day in 2009
