I'm sorry if I offended anyone but I'm giving my honest reaction. CoD4 I can play endlessly without getting bored, the time seems to fly when I'm playing that. GTAIV not so much.

I agree..the game is a good GTA game...just not really special or anything...

Vice City's still my favorite

I enjoyed the game until I finished the story... online was dull... and it didn't feel that much replayable. After finishing the story I found my self jumping out of helicopters for fun.... that's it..... or driving around on a bike trying to do stunts..... the game's reviews were mainly because of hype and next gen improvement IMO... not really about enjoyment of the game...

 honestly, i have never finished a GTA game, but this is nothing new here. Fishy has never had anything nice to say about another console other than the wii.

If you get bored with the objectives of the game you could just take a break and carry out some mindless violence. Dragging someone out of their car and taking the passenger for a hair raising ride akin to that scene from 'The Highlander' is always worth a laugh. The AI is pretty good and I am amazed at the scale and detail of the game.

Like people have said, everyone has different taste.  Though the first part of GTA IV was pretty boring, and I haven't actually finished the story.  But I still like to just drive around the city and do stuff (which is pretty much what I did with every GTA).  I don't really see what CoD4 has to do with it.

I played mostly the online... liked the thieves thing.... but now that my 1 free month is over I have to say that I had trouble continuing the game (just unlocked the main island)

My experience is that any GTA game is better if you play with friends.

I remember how fun was the pizza guy chase on Vice City, but then played alone and was boring.

Wii killer? Iono who said GTA was a Wii killer, but no.

Dont pay attention to the reviews, if you play GTA expecting it to be a 98% game or whatever it is on metacritic you're gonna be sorely disappointed. But, if you play it like what it's supposed to be, a solid 80-85% game, you might have more fun.

I never bought a GTA game until this one because of all the 10s it got and I regret my purchase because it's way overrated and it has too many flaws.
