and why is that so funny. I was open to the idea, and was waiting on more evidence. The same I am doing with the whole Ayers=Obama thing.

R on the other hand was chomping on the bit hoping this story to be true, and actually given crediance to something this far out. If I had posted about the Ayers story he would have blasted me with his usaul. You read Left Behind, teh Religion sux. I do not have in faith in you, stupid eltiest harvard lawyer line.

Just because you do not believe the same things I do does not make me wrong. Same can be said the other way. But, then again looking at the source I would put money on me... that was not bragging on myself as much as showing the level of respect I have for your "insight".

I repeat, if this is NOT true, and she's NOT a liar, then she's totally fucking nuts and got on a plane while in labor, making her a horrible mother and a horrible person.

She knew she had a special child with special needs, AND it was premature, and she skipped the hospitals in Dallas, Seattle, and Anchorage.

Stop attacking me, and defend that. If you think it's possible.

I was attacking you for your eagerness to believe a VERY far fetched story. The way I would treat someone if they came here and announce that Elvis lives next door to them.

Btw- I may be your enemy when it comes to political ideologies. But that is it. I do not think less of you in whole. I just think your view are slewed, and to be honest nutin futs. I actually find you pretty funny : )

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

The story was completely plausible until we saw the pictures that I posted (not anyone who was trying to discredit the rumor) on the second page of this thread (which I have yet to track down a real source from...).

Many of the facts pointed to the daughter being the mother of the baby, and the facts still remain incredibly bizarre, and say many bad things about Palin's judgment.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

I always wanted Elvis to live next to me.  Maybe he would come over to my house with Palin and we could have a jailhouse 3 way.

I give that post a 9.6.

Thank god for the disable signatures option.

The only thing plausible about the story was that IT sometimes happens.

The idea that it got by all the screening, and NO ONE knew, even though she is a public figure is the part that makes it as Rubang would call it "Bat shit insane"

I believe this was what Happysquirrel was saying all along.

Exactly. The events surrounding this are still very strange. It remains to be seen if this turns out to be real.

Yuo didn't answer the question, but you made fun of me and my views in a couple more posts.

You have made it clear you have nothing more to offer to this conversation, and choose to make cheap shots rather than answer a simple question.

With all due respect bigjon, GTFO my thread.

The facts are very questionable, even still, and they should STILL be investigated, since they are incredibly bizarre.

I thought the rumor was true based off the information I was given, but instead of sticking to my conclusion, guess what I did?  Some investigation.  And now I believe that I was most likely wrong.  Facts were what convinced me, not any preconceived notions about what is or isn't normal.

I don't see any record of those who were trying to discredit the rumor doing the same thing.

This is how conclusions should be drawn:

Read facts + use own judgment to interpret those facts = form a hypothesis =====> investigate facts + reevaluate facts = a more informed answer

NOT:

Read facts + ignore facts that seem implausible = correct answer

If the information came from the same source as the rumor it is highly douptful to be true. Otherwise, I have no idea. I do not know enough about the situation to make a judgement on her. That is the stance you should be taking rather than trying to find ways to discredit the woman. I respect her achievements, as do I Obama's. They main thing I hate about Obama is the way he uses his silver tongue to bequile so many into annointing him as the messiah. As for the other things... they do not matter. I do not agree with the man on really any issues.

Why do you want me to leave your thread? So you concoct more crazy ideas without any hindrance. From what I have seen here there are many willing to listen to anything anti- establishment (or republican).

The truth is if I came here with an idea as far fetched as this you would have ridden me into the ground... I was at least willing to be open until more evidence came in. That is why I called you a hypocrite. And even now that plan A has failed you are still unwilling to let it go. Just continue pursue plan B.

there are additional sources noted on the site, which give more detailed information.

Although not due until May 18th, the governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, gave birth to her fifth child today, Friday, April 18th, at 6:30 am. Trig Paxson Van Palin weighed in at 6 lbs, 2 oz when he was born at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. Trig is a Norse word meaning "true" and "brave victory." The name is in honor of his great uncle, a Bristol Bay fisherman, while the name Paxson comes from the well-known snowmobiling area in Alaska, which Sarah and husband Todd Palin love.

Sarah, 44, had her water unexpectedly break (just a slow leak of amniotic fluid, she shared) while attending an energy conference in Texas, but checked in with her doctor, was able to stay, deliver a 30 minute speech, and then get on a plane to return to her home state in time for the delivery (which ended up needing to be induced) early this morning.

I am not a glutton for pain and punishment. I would have never wanted to travel had I been fully engaged in labor.  After four kids I knew what labor felt like, and I wasn't in labor.

Sarah said that while she did not tell the pilot or flight attendants that she was 36 weeks along, she did not hide her condition either

The family initially released a statement saying that Trig has "special challenges," but did not specify what they are. However, on Monday, April 21st, they said the baby has Down Syndrom. Sarah and Todd's statement reads,

Trig is beautiful and already adored by us. We knew through early testing he would face special challenges, and we feel privileged that God would entrust us with this gift and allow us unspeakable joy as he entered our lives. We have faith that every baby is created for good purpose and has potential to make this world a better place. We are truly blessed.

On Monday, Sarah shared that she "initially felt sad" when hearing the diagnosis.

When we first heard, it was kind of confusing. It was very, very challenging. [But now,] it just feels like he fits perfectly. He is supposed to be here with us.

The pregnancy was announced in March. Trig joins siblings Track, 18, Bristol, 17, Willow, 13, and Piper, 7. Sarah said she does not plan to take a maternity leave, but is breastfeeding, will bring her son to work with her, and plans to take some days of for his pediatrician appointments

What doctor in their right mind would tell a women whose water had already broken that it was OK to take an 8-hour flight?  Not one I would ever go to.
