Forums - Nintendo - Super paper mario is coming to PAL

In September 14, according to the game stores here in Sweden. Hope it is true, but they didn't have a date till last week. Also the cover is yellow not blue.

I am not sure there was a post on this but whatever.

Edit: Also Manhunt 2 was had a July 31 release date here in Sweden. Hope its true.

This date was known for quite a while, so you can be sure that it is true.

Yeah, that explains why I've never heard of it despite looking all over for it for a while now. =P

Great to finally have a date for this game, even though it's still ridiculously far away. Now I just hope we get Brawl this year...

Are you serious? I remember commenting this date here on vgchartz... I think it was when Nintendo revealed their Q3 PAL release list.

I found the picture.

It looks... Swedish. o_O

nf: Suppose you're right. Now that I think about it, I've mostly been checking the date from Wikipedia, and they often can't put up semi-confirmed dates because they're not "verifiable enough".

It's really said that threads that I create are overlooked all the time.

Sorry bout that, couldn't find the thread and just thought better put it up here than not. I was looking forward to buying this for so long, but now I might just skip it for galaxy. It took too long to release it here in Europe. I guess it would be nice if nobody buys it so next time they will release properly.

What kind of logic is that? Do you really think we would get the next Paper Mario game sooner if we don't buy this one?

Well yeah, that would teach them to release it so late here. They'd look at NA and Japan and compare it with Europe and say well, maybe we did something wrong. If it does sell well here, they would just think it didn't matter. My opinion though.

True. If the game was bought in droves that could happen. With the existing Wii userbase compared to April, it could even sell better than the US. I don't know maybe I am still angry they released it so late. I don't know does it have that much text that has to be translated? Anyway, if it sales much higher or lower it would be a good outcome in my opinion, if it sells equal to the US would not be the best outcome.

Nintendo must have some market research (or something) that shows that staggered releases (across the world) results in better long term, worldwide sales (maybe the effect of a longer-term marketing campaign?). They seem to be doing this on purpose, for all the titles - all over the world ATM.

I'm quite pissed that Paper Mario is as late as it is, but its still the first "instant buy" title for me this year.
