Do MS care so much about their customers??
as it sell their 360 with RROD to their customers although MS already know it before 360 was release.

I never said it was their only reason. Yet I do believe Sony cares more about their customers then most want to give them credit for. Why does everyone believe that every big named company is heartless and only wishes to rob you? Some companies can maintain good business-customer relationship and be profitable too.

Just look at developers for instance. Kojima stayed exclusive to the PS3 even though many told him he could make more money by going MultiPlat(eww). He ignored them because you know why? He is LOYAL, he cares about the FANS! Some companies have compassion you know, If I ever have a company I will run it accordingly as such...

I still think you are being naive fc3000.  Why do people refer to Microsoft as M$ inferring that they are money grabbing? Comments like that are as misplaced as saying Sony sell products at a loss because they care about their customers.  Microsoft are a business like Sony and are in business to make a profit.  Sure they want people to be happy with their products, but mainly because they want brand loyalty and repeat business.

As for Kojima, if he is to be believed (and I don't doubt his sincerity) he created MGS4 on the PS3 because it provided him the opportunity to put hours of FMV onto a blu ray disk.  Getting the game on the XBox360 would have guaranteed him millions more sales.  He turned that down, not because of his loyalty to Sony fans but because he would not dilute his vision of the game.

For every time someone replies on a thread that's trying to convince people that the 360 is RROD free without any direct proof, a 360 somewhere out there gets the RROD.

Tread carefully folks....

That link to Yahoo answers was funny...

The guy doesn't realize that his X360 got insufficient power to his X360, which caused it to display 3 lights which wasn't a "true" RROD (even though it was 3 red rings, it wasn't the dead kind that we all have talked about). Reading comprehension FTW!

The force is strong in them... so strong they will resist the price cut (1) and resist the games (2) so they will play resistance 2 insted.

I tried to free them, but they refused. I tried to tell them that ps3 is not ps2,but they refused. Nothing more i can do. The sincronysation of the Defence Force is fenomenal.

The MS fanboyism is strong within this one.

It's that or hypocricy. Because Stan no matter how cheap a console is and regardless of the quantity of games that are on that system, a person is not going to buy something he or she doesn't want. To point this at SONY/PlayStation fanboys, understandable. But to gamers who own a PS3 who honestly feels this way are very legit.

Hackers are poor nerds who don't wash.

Damnit we have a new 360 fanboy.

The proof is in the hardware. The GPU is the source of the rrod, now it doesn`t move from the motherbord,so that`s my proof. Not talking about the hardware or asume something, but disecting the hardware.

And i can`t prove or convince someone that does not want a 360 or hates it.

First off, you're just speculating based hardware revisions that the RROD won't ever pop up again. Second, the proof is within reports from retailers and consumer surveys. So no, you do not have any solid proof. Just speculation.

And the GPU was not the only source of the RROD, in fact, it was mainly from the solder. I doubt you know enough about enginnering and electronics to simply say "because they made this smaller, it won't break anymore", so you're not very credible either.

Regarding your last sentence. I own a 360 and do not hate it, but you obviously don't convince me, not unless you give me real proof and an indepth run of the 360's internal hardware and the exact specifics on why RROD happens. Which i pressume you and nobody can do because RROD is not just one problem as it stands for "general hardware failure".

After hearing all the fanboys talk about the 360 hardware,i`ve understood that they don`t know what`s inside of the 360,don`t know what is the RRoD and just like to talk about the 30-33% failure rate of the early consoles.

First of all,the RRoD happens when the GPU,from the heat, doesn`t stay on the motherboard and you get the RRoD. Very simple. In september 2007 Microsoft shrunk the CPU from 90 nm to 65 nm AND the GPU from 90 nm to 80 nm. This time,ATI,the company that made the GPU,was asked to make a special glue (epoxy resin) that keeps the GPU in place.

This was supposed to be done in the first place, but Microsoft went straight to TSMC (Taiwan semi-micro conducter Co.) and thanked ATI for it`s chip, but said it`s all good for now on,they don`t need ATI anymore. Why? Because the process would cost Microsoft some 50 million $ . They are a software company, not a hardware one. Now it`s a little too late, but is good that they have changed and realised that they have lost 1 billion $ on the RRoD problem.

Moving along to the 60 gb model, the difference with the Falcon is that the memory chips on the FRONT of the motherbord have doubled in sise,so there was no need for the bottom ram chips. This is great because of the ventilation and power usage. Also, the cooling is the same as the Falcon, wich is great.

In september 2008,the Jasper model will have the GPU shrunk from 80 nm to 65 nm,wich from what i know, has a lot less power consumption and heat. So if you are interested in a 360 this Xmass,go for it. Now is the time.

And i hope i have been very explicit.

I don't think they would have used those words...

The RRoD is just a sign of internal hardware failure. While the main cause of RRoD might have been curved, the actual lights(which are an indication of a problem, not the problem itself) will never be fixed, and thus MS can never announce anything concerning RRoD in the context that it is "fixed." It's like saying the fire is out because we turned the alarm off.

That said, of course, new 360 hardware is relatively reliable, compared to early units. I have no evidence, but I feel it's common sense, and generally accepted.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

rrod is a thing of the past, understand that and it will save you a lot of time.
