I believe that it's atleast true compaired to 360 games. PC games are a matter of specs though. I will say that the ps3 processor is most likely able to do more things at once than any current pc processor which might lead to some sort of value where the ps3 will outdo anything else.

However, looking at the raw graphics, the new nvidea card beats the RSX in (atleast) most aspects. Quite a lot. But the RSX has the CELL to help it.

But even though some games has the "potential" to look a little better on the pc. (read crysis) i still tend to buy the ps3 version simply because it's more relaxing to play the ps3 than it is to play pc. Used to be the other way around but i guess i've gone less hardcore in that aspect.

Best looking doesn't mean Best games though does it........ Didn't drakes fortune win loads of awards for best looking game of 2007? BUT...... how many game of the year awards did Drakes fortune win? i'll tell you...... None, Zilch, Zero, Nada, not one...... n.o.t.h.i.n.g.

How odd. I actually felt the complete opposite.

For the first hour or so you were stuck in darkened jungle sequences that really didn't do justice to the games graphics/engine.

I think the second half of the game really showed off what Naughty Dog were capable of. It had much more memorable moments, more beautfiul sets, and more characters on-screen. (The courtyard with the blood-red setting sun, and the 'submarine hold' come to mind as especially visually beautfiul sections of Uncharted).

I think you mean PS3 has better CGI trailers then PC ingame.

Also, compare KZ2 to Crysis:
- Linear paths with essentially corridors or combat VS a wide expansive world that you can travel around
- Game to be released in 2009 VS Game released in 2007 (2 years earlier at that point)

AND Crysis STILL beats it.

Also, LBP, Resistance 2 and Tekken? I think you've lost alot of people with those three who will be above average for this gen but not better than Crysis.

We've all seen the 13 VS "ingame" screen shots, but until it's proven beyond doubt (when we see a trailer of ingame combat), I remain sceptical about how much better then 13 it'll be.

haha, I can't believe that you put a game that you have only seen a CGI trailer for on your list (God of War 3).

Well seeing as i own a PS3 an a Xbox 360 an i own both Uncharted: drakes fortune and MGS4: Guns of The Patriots i must say that both of those 2 games wipe the floor graphics wise with anything thats avaliable on the x360 at the mo, Gears of War 2 looks awesome tho but that said so does Resistance 2.
