What do you think or women who aren't talented or interested in what would traditionally be considered a woman's role, i.e. cooking, cleaning, sewing, etc?

Well if my girlfriend isn't good at cleaning, we're pretty much screwed. Thank god she is. As for sewing, what is it good for anymore? And hell, if the girl ain't good at cooking, I'll do it myself. I'd whip up something nice.
I like it when a girl is a good cook but it's far from a deal-breaker.
If she doesn't clean... Well, that's just a scary thought. I'm not a slob but I'm not far from it.

I guess it's not safe for me to answer this, considering.... so have fun all!

No, I can do everything with regards house work, but its a plus so you can split the housework.
My grandparents were pretty much raised to believe that women were the ones at home cooking, cleaning and succumbing to the will of the "man of the house". My parents weren't so much like that but when I got married I vowed not to be like that at all and treat my wife with equality and respect. We pretty much both cook and clean.
She's better at the larger dinner courses like whole chicken or turkey, potato salad, enchiladas, fajitas, tostones, and empanadas ;p I stick to cooking meat like steak and bbq and love making creative subs and breakfast. Great now I'm hungry, time for a midnight snack...

i would definitely need it... i mean i would help with cleaning, but i cant do much other than that. i guess i can help with cooking 2 by at least making rice, but i struggle 2 learn how 2 cook so i wont do much more than that unless i somehow manage 2 learn.
I don't have one at the moment, but if I had a girlfriend/wife that did not know how to cook slightly at the very least, we'd be eating canned/frozen food all the time. I could probably teach myself to sew if the need arose...cleaning...meh...I'll clean when things get really messy but I'm not a neat freak.

y'know....answering the thread question literally. I think I can answer that I definitely require domestic skills in a partner, or we're just going to have to be rich enough to pay someone to do it. Otherwise we would live in squalor and probably die, since I'm so damned inept.

I never really cared because I think that "a woman's role" is sexist is hell, and nobody should have duties based on their sex other than "he uses the weener, she uses the vagina, she has the baby."
But I just kinda lucked into a wife who's a ridiculously amazing cook. In the last few months, she made Ethiopian food for the first time, pizza for the first time, cherry pie for the first time, and they were all amazing. She even made me eggs, bacon, burgers, and a bacon burger. She's a vegan!
And she's awesome with clothes too. She was in fashion school for a while and has interned at a few places, so as soon as we have some money I can commission her to make me some sort of cape or my own fitted suit.
But we share the cleaning, and she's slowly teaching me how to cook so I can cook for her a couple nights a week. And I make up for her cooking by doing more dishes.
