I vote for Truman. First use of Atomic bombs(that too on cities) begs for his nomination. Or were we just considering dictators? Cause being elected to office somehow makes it morally acceptable?

You realize that about as many Germans "supported" going into WWII, right? I doubt many of them supported the war for long, however. And certainly very few people in the US support Bush now. Remember that looking at a single piece of data with no context is meaningless. At best, you manipulate the uninformed. At worst, you make yourself look shortsighted.

Who is to say our democracy is modern, considering how old it is (ancient greece says hi!), who's to say it's correct, we have people protesting in every democractic country about something thats wrong with our society, does that sound modern to you?

I'm not necessarily saying democracy is a bad thing nor that we are the "primitive" system, I like democracy, but I don't think we have the right to say our system is better then anothers.


By the way, George Bush is a war criminal, it's no coincidence that he hasn't touched North Korea, Russia, China or any powerful countries with a non-democratic systems. In his search for Bin Laden, he just happens to jump to Iraq, a oil rich nation with not a massive amount of military might. Show me some weapons of mass destruction.
