well, it seems this is actually from well over a year ago.... and i cant find any evidence this book actually exists. only references to claims of some guy that says he has it, but wont even share the book.
Do you know of something that gives actual evidence of this book?

lol didn't the green party get its first mp today? some former tory, i think.

Edit: i wouldn't be surprised if one happen this winter, seems like all parties want one, but don't want to be the one to cause it.

Canadian elections generally don't usually happen in Winter. They usually happen in Fall and Spring for the following reasons, among others:

  1. The odds of having favorable weather which leads to a strong turnout is not likely in Winter;
  2. Politicians generally don't like to wear big bulky winter clothes (coats, gloves and hats) to political rallys;
  3. Winter weather makes putting up electoral signs very difficult (lawns are covered in snow, It's hard to climb a pole then put up the sign and tie it with tie wraps when your hands are freezing or you're wearing gloves);
  4. People basically don't pay much attention to political news during Christmas;
  5. Peopel pay even less attention in Summer, plus you have vacations.

Like I said, expect an announcement Tuesday, if there is going to be fall elections. (Maybe Wednesday ;) )

it was a liberal

"The Green Party now has its first MP in Parliament, and he is an ex-Liberal who had resigned from that party's caucus over accusations of election financing irregularities."

Well balanced news story, did you see that Conservative they interviewed ... Oh wait, that was the CBC, they only interview Liberals to ensure a balanced story.

Seriously though, there are hundreds of tricks in most minority government's bags in order to survive; I suspect that this is seen and reported as being "Bad" rather than "Clever" by the media because it was done by the Conservatives rather than the Liberals.

Don Martin was the "some guy" i was talking about. i was hoping for something more substantive though. :-/

Guys, this isn't a nutjob conspiracy theory. Don't you remember when it was all over the news? I've given you stories from the National Post and the Globe and Mail as well, or do those papers "only interview Liberals to ensure a balanced story"?

Election announcement will happen next week. Was watching TV earlier and saw campaign ads. Checked out CTV.ca (One of Canada's big news networks) and they mentioned it was a pre-election campaign ad, so the ball is rolling and the rumour is Fall.

I'm voting NDP. :b

idk...Don Martin seems like a bit like a nutjob to me. all of this comes from what Don Martin said and wrote. So im not going take just his word for it.
