Aside from the RROD issue that plagued the system´s early life, it´s easy to see how much effort and emphasis MS has been putting on getting many big games for the 360.
Helping fund Mistwalker, securing a lot of JRPGs for the Japanese public, getting many big 3rd party titles that previously were PS exclusive, trying to shake off the image of the Xbox as a "shooter box".
All in all, the scenario painted at the beginning was of MS really putting a lot of work on making the 360 look like the PS2 in terms of games, while Sony was very arrogant at the beginning of this gen and expected all good things handed to them on a silver platter.
With all that said, and taking into account all the effort on MS´ part, do you think the 360 deserved to be selling far better in Europe and Japan?...even in its stronghold, the U.S, the PS3 has been outselling it on a regular basis.
It kinda feels as if the guy who´s been working very hard isn´t really being recognized.
I think the biggest problem for MS and the Xbox brand wasn´t the RROD, it´s always been a 'global celing' that´s been really hard for them to crack....they lack that worldwide appeal Nintendo and Sony have enjoyed.
While the 360 is expected to surpass the original Xbox and end this generation in the 40 million range, do you think they deserved much higher numbers given all the effort on delivering all these games?
