It's a bit strange that we've already got a thread whining about this game 'bombing' considering that I didn't even know it was released yet. But it's not that strange when you realize the resident self-loathing wah wah boycott Capcom Nintendo fan made it. Again.

The game was made by Skip, has low production values, I could not even begin to describe how it plays, Birdo with a vibrator, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. I have no idea what people were expecting this to sell in the first place for 4k on apparently the first day to be considereda bomb, and I didn't think anyone here cared that much considerng that the game was made ina fashion where it probably has no chance in hell in leaving Japan.

In other words, Captain Rainbow "bombed" because it's Captain Rainbow.

@Rol: Hmmm, no. Im worried about it being completely forgotten, as it flopped badly. I wanted to try out this game, no I guess there will be no chance.

But if showing games at least 3 months before they get released means more sales and more hype, then Im all for it. 3 months is very different from 1 year as you suggest.

You need to go outside and touch the grass and the animals, because you're taking this and the internet way too seriously. No one is "spouting shit about you," it's just that your whining schtick has gotten old. We get it. You hate Capcom and Nintendo 'deserves' this because they didn't hype a game about Birdo with a vibrator.

The disturbing thing, besides Birdo, is that you're in the news section intwining your fingers maliciously and cackling at how Nintendo is going to pay for letting this game 'bomb.' It's not that serious. If anything Nintendo isn't going to suffer (they increased their forecast), Skip is, but after Chibi Robo it seems that this is what they like to do - make niche and quirky titles.

@Claude: Then Nintendo is in for losing money? Oh really, I dont understand them. I dont think any dev is going to make a game knowing that it wouldnt succeed. The game has sense of humour and its not in a niche genre like you imply. Read previews like the one at IGN to have an idea of the game. Maybe its adult oriented but how is that BAD or NICHE? Why are sex jokes so wrong?

Also, why would Nintendo utilize an inner dev to make niche shovelware instead of making a better game? That would bring their image down. The truth is that the game was unknown for almost everyone before getting released. I dont want anymore games to be left in the dust like this. Theres nothing wrong with that, right?

Lolololol, how much money did they lose? Can you tell me? This is first day we're talking about, you can't make LTD conclusions already. Wario Land is shooting for 100k and everyone swore that game flopped day one.

And how is this shovelware? What point was it 'left in the dust'? It's not like it had competition, there were weekly trailers all the way up to release and it certainly had some buzz just based off of how odd it was. You keep talking about hype and other silly terms but really, would making people wait for 2 years have changed anything?

I never said Wario bombed, I said it underperformed, though America and Europe will probably make it a decent hit.

This game on the other hand, is bound to stay in Japan because Nintendo didnt give a damn about it. Btw I never said it was shovelware, many people did citing its graphics.
