Thats actually shaping up better than I expected. From what I see here its appears to have better story elements than typical Bethesda fare. Kinda sad they reused some of thoes sub par Oblivion cheese grater voice actors though and If your gonna do roby the robot knokoffs you could at least come close to the voice. After watching these I'm more excited than I was. Think I might move this game back to my cautiously optimistic category.

I think it looks great. Very nice apocalyptic environment

do you guys think the devs will have "problems" with the ps3 and thus the ps3 version turns out to be worse?

^ Since they released a PS3 version of Oblivion with better graphics and the such, I believe they could do a pretty good job with Fallout 3

damn, what crap it is. I know I'm going to get disappointed with this game, even though I don't have much faith now.

why is everyone so pissed off at this fps/rpg combo......I think it's awsome!

People that are pissed are the ones that played the hell out of 1 and 2. They think the 3rd lacks the soul of the first two. I'm holding my breath and see what it offers.

Well, the problem is that it's like The Elder Scrolls, but with a Fallout skin. I noticed the ugly looking expressions/animations and textures on persons, and that ugly ass zoom (and turn animation, ugggh!) when talking to someone...

Luckily the gunplay is going to be solid, otherwise it might be worth a rent. The setting is impressive though!
