No, no, NO. Personal expectation is NOT THE DEFINITION of "flop". And it didn't have a lot of marketing, and it did not cost that much to make.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Alone in the Dark didn't flop. Atari actually credits the game with the company's first profitable quarter in a long while. How could it have helped a whole company make money if it didn't itself?

Whereas I wouldn't consider BoomBlox to be a flop, I think many people on this site would consider it should have sold more.
NGII seemed to have a lot surrounding it Ad wise in my opinion there were huge Carboard stands outside the stores and big posters. According to the sales reflected here on VGchartz, something went wrong with it.

That Sid Meier's Revolution game got a lot of Advertising time and also is not selling THAt well. I dunno, good speculation at anyrate Jon.

At anyrate I think the runaway title for '06,'07 and '08 go to Nintendogs. It's still in the GD'd top 20! My god!

MKWii is definitely a runaway success. Been sold out at a lot of places for a long time.

Because blogs are the most reliable source of information. According to the site, .68 million so far sold for it.

 

Um...Gamerscoreblog is Microsoft official community site. Consider the game is publish by them and all, I think their numbers would be reliable.

I really like Eye of Judgement. Though some of the feature, menu is a bit cumbersome. It's a nice innovative game and I wish they would do 2nd one with improvement. (but I doubt that will happen). I don't think I would call it a flop though but then again all game on PS3 last year were all hype up by fanboys and set up to fail.

BTW, this is on clearance at Target for $34.00!! so if you need the PSEye camera (for say BLP or other eye games) it's a great buy !
