Updated – Crysis Coming To PlayStation 3 In 2009?

PlayStation Universe is reporting that according to one of its sources, Crysis is coming to the PlayStation 3 – complete with the new Warhead expansion – in the first half of next year.

If this is to be believed, Crytek is said to be using the power of the Cell processor the best it can; hopefully this will result in intelligent AI, high-quality textures and overall a nice-looking title. In case you didn’t hear, Crysis is a PC title known for its excellent graphics, and was highly-anticipated before its release because of this. When we spoke with Crytek earlier this year, the team said it was considering the possible alternatives, but had no final decision; PlayStation Beyond has followed this up; we’ll keep you posted!

Update – Crytek informed us it can't say anything as it doesn't comment on rumours, so you might want to take this with a pinch of salt… and maybe a sprinkle of pepper!

Graphics to powerful for the 360, but no problem fro T3H POWERZ OF TEH CELL!

not saying that Crysis won't come to PS3, but this article is pure crap. The fact that PSU is the source makes me wonder how some people can be taken seriously.

PSU is a website made and ran by kids, and are in no way reporters.

I worked for PSU, I might hate their managers but I know the site. Shut your mouth NOW. PSU is about as reliable as IGN, heck half the time they have better sources then IGN.
