Xbox 360 is doing great! I feel pity for the PS3 fans here because it proves that my signature is going to come true!

the 360 gets outsold by 20,000 by the ps3 and you feel pity for the ps3 fans, and dont forget the european numbers the ps3 outsold the 360 by 28,000!!!

despite the 360 being so cheap people have still chosen the ps3, really you should feel pity for the 360 fans, next time you come out with a statement make sure you have something to back it up. That statement makes you look a fool no offense!!

And you prediction it will never come true face the facts, the ps3 will outsell the 360 on a weekly basis and come christmas the gap will shortened. The ps3 is  the consumer choice!

I thought he was joking?

Maybe i'm wrong.

DS - 122,388 (136,301) down 14,000
Wii - 95,717 (85,904) up 10,000
PS3 - 69,528 ( 57,449) up 12,000
PSP - 71,382 (73,321) down 2,000 (good holdover from new bundles)
360 - 47,734 (50,645), down 3,000

PS2 was at 39,518 last week

good week for PS3 - will be interesting next week, if I were MS though i'd have tried to remodel the 360 for the 60gb launch.

i guess that the vacation slump finally kicked in for the Wii. I mean, it's still selling more than it did in the US same time last year, isn't it?

I predict numbers to start going up and up with september releases. No other option imo.

Huh. Who would've thought that beggining anew in my real life would coincide with starting anew on vgchartz?

Any day now, the dollar will be worth less than 2 zloty......any day now.....and my life savings will be in total jepordy ;(.

Too Human hardware boost?! Haha...

troll alert! Inform the boss!

where's Matlock?

Very respectable sales for the PS3 this month barring Japan. Hopefully 360 sales are just down in US because of imminent price cut.

lol...don't worry man. 360 pro just went up to 349 with 60 gig hard drive and is one week away from 299. Who would buy it this week? Only people with brain injuries...

Your sig however may have been a little overanxious...

I could be wrong but I doubt the majority of customers are aware of the incoming 360 price drop so it should not have had that big of an impact this week, and I don't think any retailer is advertising it either..

It will however increase 360 sales once people see cheaper 360 on display ( one hope, cause if you drop price and your sales don't go up that means customers consider the value you deliver is low..)

Im joking, really I don't care about sales at the moment. 2 weeks time we will see the result of 6 days worth of Xbox 360 price cuts, success or failure will be spelled out then.

Btw theres also the issue of people low stock, store staff saying "Come back next week and you'll pay $300" and the fact that now the price is being dropped people don't want to pay $349 for a Premium or $280 for an Arcade.

Tease.

wii at 47% finally, and good increase for ps3

Wii is up some, still supply constrained (?)

PS3 up considerably from last week (~18 percent) Why?

The Wii has been pretty much down for a month... Supply constrained doesn't explain it so much because of the stead supply for the previous month and the fact that Nintendo has increased production. I hate to say anything like this but could the Wii be reaching some sort of saturation point with its current market?

Well it was supposed to reach a point of saturation sometime in the summer, August probably being that month.  But when it reached one we were expecting mroe around 150k a week type things.  I don't think this is that point of saturation considering such a dropoff wouldn't fit any trends to date.  But who knows if we are even getting Wii sales numbers right.
