$199 is Extremely good value for a 360 for most people I guess....

I wonder whether America will receive this price drop well unlike Europeans did earlier this year

The best thing about the pricing as others have already mentioned, is the fact that a 60GB hard drive + headset + 3 month live kit will be available for 100 bucks.

Consumers won't feel ripped off if they purchase an arcade and then decide they need the HD, as the price will be the same as if they bought a Pro to begin with.

IMO this takes the arcade from the dull buy it used to be, to a great buy. It really does offer an actual choice for the consumer with equal value.
