just wondering here, because PSN has made some significant strides (in-game messaging, video store, trophies, etc.) since the last thread I made about this in early July. (I'm too lazy to go back and find it) I'm asking because I do not have a 360 and I'm really curious what XBL has that PSN does not. Some stuff I do know it has over the PSN:

-Cross-game invites

-Cross-game chat

-Every XBLA game has a demo

What else am I missing?

and please.... NO FLAMING. I'm just curious.

Comparable to the PSN Classics (Playstation games) so this is only a technicality. As that of course PSN doesnt have XBOX games on it. I would call this a both systems have it.

... I really cant think of one that it has that the PSN doesnt have after all the recent updates... A price? does that count?

edit, I forgot the cross game invites and chat, those would be two things that it doesnt have at the moment, though Im pretty sure they have started releasing demos for everything like the XBL. So Im not sure that really counts so much anymore.



I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

I was referring more to the fact that Microsoft is offering a different generation of games than Sony is.

Qore? We are comparing PSN to Live not PS3 to 360. Qore is not the core experience. Although I see where you are coming from.

Jokes aside dunno if this is technically Live but mandatory "achievements" is great.

Isn't Qore a part of PSN? Can it be purchased offline and accessed offline? Qore is not the core experience. However Wessle just said PSN doesn't have the feature of subscription fees yet and I countered that argument with Qore, since it offers a better service with demos sooner, articles, previews and exclusive betas.

This is not technically an online feature, but the 360 allows you to access your dashboard in game and do things such as manage downloads. The PS3 requires you to quit the game to accomplish the same thing. I have not played my 360 in a few months (have not had it repaired as of yet), so I may be fuzzy on the details.
