Forums - Microsoft - My Xbox doesnt like castle crashers :(

I go to local play adventure mode, and the game always freezes after i enter the first tunnel.  It says: "storage device has been removed or file has been damaged, now returning to xbox live arcade"... I've already deleted and redownloaded once though, and the same thing happens.   This has never happend with any of my other downloaded titles.  Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix it?

The first 3 minutes is so fun i want to keep playing!

Shouldn't you really be asking Microsoft?

An xbox 360 that does not work.

Might be a corrupt or damaged HDD. Try reformatting your HDD. If you have a friend with a HDD, try playing the game with his HDD and your XBox360. If that works, it's probably a problem with the HDD and if reformatting doesn't work, you'll probably need a new HDD.

i havent seen anyone else with issues.

But i guess you could try deleting it, then clear your cache
http://www.360-hq.com/xbox-tutorials-62.html
and re download the game

this will also delete all game updates, so you will have to re update games when you play them next.

Try clearing the cache, had a funky freezing problem with NG2 a few weeks ago and it fixed the problem for me.

Haven't seen this particular issue before either.

Did you check the xbox.com forums? It might not be isolated.
