I say your predictions are a tad too low for the PS3 and Wii. X360 prediction seems on the money. We have a winner.
Add 2 million to PS3 total and add 5 million to Wii total.

It's hard to tell. If Americans don't fall in love with the 360 again after the price drop, expect Sony to gain some serious ground.

So? It's not like you haven't changed your predictions during this year...

I predicted that the Xbox 360 would outsell the PS3 Q3/Q4 sometime like May or April, since thats my only major prediction it looks like I haven't changed it.
Tease.
I'ma say the 360 will outsell PS3 by 700,000 on the strength of the price drop, and Fable 2 (with maybe a few going sold on Gears 2's strength). I could be wrong, as it could be higher or lower, or PS3 could win, depending such factors as unforeseen price-drops, surprise-hit games, advertising, etc.
I know past slaes are not always a portend for future sales, but I highly doubt the PS3 will close the gap by a couple million. If the charts are correct, the PS3 has narrowed the gap by a few hundred thousand consoles since its respective launch in Novermeber, 2006. When I take the 360's price drop into consideration, I fail to see how the PS3 will suddenly gain so much ground. I think sales are likely to be equal...with an infinitesimal edge to the 360.

Yeah they did, but I think we all had a WTF moment when they did that. They have been selling almost double last year all yea long, so I think they will hit about 14,000,000 this year. That means they should sell about 8,000,000 this winter.
We all know that Sony low-balled their predictions so they could raise them, and they could look better.
And I agree with Rocketpig. If the price drop fails to ignite (like the last one), then the PS3 could make up serious ground.
Rhetoirical question? Yes..of course it will..
If the PS3 comes closer it won't be by much. Like others have said I think the price drop could really help the 360 in the holidays.
