I am thinking of getting a second PS3 for my den (one in the main games room alrady).

The reason for this is sometimes i want to play different games than my wife.  or she sometimes (for unknown reasons) does not want to play video games and instead wants to 'watch' something.

But what I want to know is will i be able to use my downloadable content on multiple ps3s?  like can I log in to either ps3 with my sign in and play games I have bought, such as super star dust hd... will it be possible to easilly move save games etc. between the two consoles?

Anyone have any experience with this? 

Sounds like a great idea. Two PS3's = twice the fun as one PS3.

Well it will also mean we can play games competitively against each other.  like Grand Tourismo 5 Prolog  each with our own full tv to play on.. no split tv stuff.  The ps3 is also a fantastic media center.  It looks great.  It can double as a computer..... it has blu ray... there are many many many things the ps3 can do, but sometime sharing it is not what you want to do.

Yes, you can download your PSN games, but you can only download them 5 times when you are not downloading them to the console they were bought on. And you can just throw your save games on a USB stick and transfer them with that, no biggy.

I believe you can. If you just log onto your account on the new PS3 (Accessible via going to "Sign up for PSN -> "No I will use an existing account" under Network), and go to the PS:Store you will be able to redownload all of your purchased items.

I think there is a limit, though, like 5 times per game... to stop people from fraudulantly using the system.

But that's like adding infinity to infinity... after all the PS3 is infinately more fun than the competitior consoles.
