Well, since most x360 games are only enhanced experiences of what was around before, i'll go with the Wii. Besides, far more people will remember playing wii sports or wii fit for the first time than playing some fps.

That's out of the HD consoles though.

Best if you have a PC: Wii, The best shooter on the PS3 is COD IV which is on the PC anyway. Also you'd get grid which is one of the best racing games along with Mario Kart.

Let's test this out on the two genres you mentioned, remember thread is about Jan1 2009.

Racing: GT5-Prologue, Motorstorm, Motrostorm Pacific, F1 racing, Ridge Racer, Wipeout HD compared to Mario Kart, Excite Truck and Sonic Racers.

May depend on your taste but seriously.

FPS: Resistance, Resistance 2, UT3 (no PC version as of yet) , Rainbow Six, Darkness, Bad Company, Dark Sector, .... ... ... ... against Metroid Prime and Medal of Honour.

If you want to compare other genres let me know.

No mather how cool some wii games are imo the cool games are the sequels to old franchises and in that case not so memorable
