There is no financial reason for MS to charge more than 2-5 cents extra per game for extra discs.  The reason they do is to encourage developers to use compression to reduce the appearance of Blu-Ray having any advantage. 

In this particular case, I'm sure Microsoft will make an exception to ensure FFXIII makes it to the Xbox 360, and charge SE disc-cost price only or nothing extra at all.

 

And Rock_on, now you are unbanned you can stop using your KZ2 account.

Considering the past of multiplatform development, it actually has a chance to look better on the 360 =(

Very very poor chance so...

Multiplatform development, until now, has most of the time been made on 360 first. We are talking about a game developped on PS3 first.

No actually we are not.

FFXIII is being developed on the PC platform then ported over to BOTH the PS3 and Xbox 360.  Due to the similarities between the PC and the Xbox 360, there is just as much chance the Xbox 360 version will look and play better than the PS3 version as there is of the opposite.

 

 

DMC4 is also developed on PC but it looked and played better on PS3 because of the engine...also crystal tools are best for ps3 thats why it will be better on PS3

ffxiii looks more lively than vs xiii but I've been known to love dark RPGs so we shall see.

Who says Crystal Tools are best for PS3?

As far as I knew FFXIII is the first game to use them..........

DMC4 has EXACTLY the same Metacritic score for both versions, and the PC version is lower. Apparently any differences were completely insignificant.

Link. Personally I doubt it. They do not plan to release it on the PC for the time being so developing it there would be pretty weird. I think you confuse that with DMC where this was indeed the case.

You know, seeing how this game isn't going to come out in a while, I was expecting more graphically, and I mean this for BOTH consoles. Yes, the graphics are great, but they're not awesomely great to me...

???????????? I am no FF friend but please what ARE awesomely great graphics for you? Some of the shots can compete with any CGI movie I have seen and I still have a tiny bit of doubt that they are ingame.

What I meant was that there are several upcoming games that match the level of FFXIII's. This is probably just me, but I believed that it didn't matter how good-looking other new releases were, FF always won graphically by a LONG shot. The graphics on XIII and VXIII just look marginally better. Correct me if previous FF games were also just marginally superior.

Just google Crystal Tools. Basically it's SE's version of something like Capcom's Framework... start and do most of the work on PC then move onto each specific console environment. They aren't releasing it on PC just because they don't want to do it.
