Forums - Sony - Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII or FFT: War of the Lions?

I don't know which of these games to buy for my PSP. I'm a huge FFVII fan, it's my favorite game in the series and of all time regardless of genre, but I'm also desperate to play Tactics as I missed out on it during the PS1 era.

So can someone list pro's and con's of the games to help me decide? I can't get them both right now so I'll probably pick the other one up at a later date. No spoilers please :)

IMHO you should play FFT:WOTL.

You can put 100+ hours into it and it never gets old.

Final Fantasy tactics

I concur. Tactics. I love it still, and I've played it to death. That said CC rocks a great deal, and if you love FFVII, it is likely to please.

Really, get both.

:)

I personally never played played Tactics, but if you're an avid VII fan get Crisis Core.
It REALLY adds into the story that you're probably obsessed with.

Of course, as portable gaming, Tactics may be better.

Sony will prevail. My 60 gig says so.

- Rock Band 2
- Soulcalibur IV

i hate Final Fantasy tactics(PSP version)

i rather play the one for gba...matter of a fact,i played it today

I don't have a DS so that isn't an option. Well I'm thinking despite all the advice to the contrary, I'm gonna go with Crisis Core...the FFVII appeal is just too big for me to resist.

What kind of games do you like? Overall WOTL is a better game, but if you want a faster paced game then Crisis Core is a great choice. You should just get both honestly...as both are too good to be missed.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

If you are indeed a FFVII fan, pick up FFCC first. Right now i am playing and loving it.
Then just put custom firmware on your psp and go play any game you like, starting with FFT.

Maybe some people like to BUY thier games.

We'll miss you George.
