I hated Al Fresca Plaza.

It was a surefire way for me to throw my controller in rage.

Never ever take anyone that way. Take them outside with the freaks on the car than that way.

Definitely, if you stick to the walls in the courtyard and the cons spawn on the opposite side then it's like...a walk in the park.

Sorry, that was bad.

@twesterm

Al Fresca is the area between the food court and the entrance plaza. After you beat the first psychopath, Carlito, it's the direction Brad goes for your next case file. As for saving everybody, I didn't even think about it my first playthrough. You must be a glutton for punishment for even trying.

Never got to day 2, I would finish day 1 and then restart. I'm one of those strange people that has to do everything as I get to it (or as soon as it can be gotten to) and since I have the option to get to all those people I must but sadly I was never actually able to get them all.

It's not the fault of the game, I'm just one of those 100% or as close to it as I can. I don't really go crazy over missing hidden things but things right in the open like that just bother me to death if I don't get it done. Since I know it's possible to get everybody I just never let myself get past it and I keep making myself start over.

It sucks. I want to finish that game so badly but at the end of the first day every time I know there were people I didn't get to and I have to start over.

If you ever do try it again, and can manage to let some people go the first playthrough (all of them), things get a lot easier if you do a run for the Real Mega Buster first.  Not only will you have the most BA weapon in the game available from the start, but your level will carry over making fights against psychopaths easier, giving you more health, larger inventory, etc...

Wow. That video was Wack Juice. They just fell... and when he picked up the weapons, they just floated or "jumped" into his hand. You don't really see his hands grabbing it.

I won't judge the game till the final video.

I didn't like Overworld at first but it got better.

I rented Dead Rising for the XBox 360 and only played it for a little while (before I got too busy and lost interest) but from what I remember there weren't that many zombies inside the mall when I was playing (which was fairly early on) ...

If this video represented the most zombies on screen in the Wii game and Hitman's crowd had as much AI devoted to it as the zombies have in Dead Rising I would say that it was a fair comparison. In reality land though, this video is blantent cherry picking ...

There is an achievment thats like "kill the towns population" and I think the opening scene tells you the population is 10,000. So yes, later in the game many, many, many more zombies come on screen. For this video however, in the 360 version if you ran (no matter how many zombies there were) you would need to weave in and out of zombies. And the AI was hell of a lot smarter.(they reacted faster than waiting for you to get right next to them) So if this is a video from "early in the game" its still crap.

Thats a really great example of misleading information. Yes there are achievements for various numbers of zombies killed, but you have to work your ass off you get them. My first play through I killed less than 1,500 zombies as I recall. And no, for the most part the zombies didn not react quickly at all. The AI was pathetic for most of the game. The only time it became less than pathetic was at night where the zombies would become slightly more aggressive but still not that great. They would just stand there as I picked up a park bench and slammed it into them over and over. Dead Rising was not nearly as advanced as you would have us beleive.

That video was pure trolling, but it certainly embarrassing when the wii keeps getting compared to the ps2, that's horrible.

Who says that demo was showing the max amount of zombies able to be on screen? Has anyone here played Dead Rising? The first day on the Xbox 360 version has just about as few zombies running around as was shown on the Wii in that video.

It could be the most zombies they will have on screen, but is this confirmed? If not, I'd wait until something official comes out.

No. It's getting the PS2's leftovers that's embarrassing to the Wii. Claiming the system is barely stronger than the PS2 embarrases those who claim that, not the Wii itself.

It shows the truth about Capcom, but don't worry, there are another companies that will be supporting the Wii.

Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Fullfilled Prophecies

I'll still wait to see.  Anyone could compare the Xbox 360 one to Hitman Blood Money too, and say the PS2 could do more. Just using this as an example.

Of course, there is the chance the Wii version won't get more Zombies on screen, but to me, it just looks like the person that put the video together was just trying to bash the Wii version of the game.

The graphics engine is not being utilized much at all. Notice how nothing has any shadows. Not just the zombies but absolutely nothing.

This is like crying that a car looks ugly while still in the factory.

If car fans were like gaming fans, they would do that. Also, anyone got a link to that Penny Arcade comic, where a guy is judging the just penciled strip?
