unnamed projects = desperation

Are the fanboys so desperate that they now count games that are rumours and/or don't even have a name?

Ah!

How about creating a list with confirmed games (with names)? maybe then you'll prove some sort of point.

On top of that ...

If you cull out the obvious filler from your list of exclusive games, and bring it down to a list of a couple dozen really good games, it looks far more impressive than listing games which are/will be bad (like Genji: Days of the Blade, Lair, Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire, Haze and Untold Legends Dark Kingdom)

Highly subjective since all consoles have their share of "bad" games, and some "lower ranking" games are worth it to some individuals.  We cannot judge who will like a certain game or not.  There are even "high ranking" games that don't appeal to some because of genre or for whatever reason.  Some gamers are hardcore fans of dragons (Lair) or FPS (Haze) or Gundam (Mobile Suit Gundam) or etc...  There is nothing wrong with listing exclusives because that's the concrete, measurable factor.  Personal preferences regardless of rating is highly subjective, and that's what's most important to gamers.

Those two games were awesome! They were a solace for a poor 60gb PS3 owner who could find naught but crumbs for his poor gaming collection.

Tease.

This isn't telling me anything that I didn't already know. All the systems will have their power spots. There was no myth that the PS3 didn't have any exclusives. The problem was that they lost some of their most important 3rd party games. This is why Sony had to focus more on 1st and 2nd party games.

Actually the reason that they lost so much 3rd party support had to do with them only focusing on their 1st party, understand this Sony has already stated that they would rather focus on their 1st party then to dwell on the past (i.e. Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry etc.) and also consider that the PS3 is the hardest to program for another reason some developers jumped ship

Wrong. 360 had the larger installed base with the year head start. 3rd party developers decided to make multiplat games on the 360, because of the solid installed base including the amount of installed base made purchases to one system per purchase. After Sony lost alot of 3rd party exclusives Sony vowed to focus more on 1st and 2nd party titles. You have your timing incorrect. The programming was one of the last reasons developers decided anything. Developers know full well that you can make a game with equal graphics to the PS3 on the 360 with a much lower budget and much less work and it takes up less memory.

Sony learn what it was like to see themselves bleed after having dominant market share last gen after losing some of their most prized 3rd party franchises. Microsoft found their weakness and so they had to change their gameplan. It's about damn time. They were too dependant on 3rd party games.

Actually, you're both right because having a larger installed base is an incentive while SONY's funds were more tied into 1st/2nd party development instead of securing 3rd party exclusives.  Get over yourselves.

Awww damn, I thought this thread was going to dispel the myth that the PS3 actually has exclusives...

^Watch it or someone will dispel your chair so your wiener shows!!
Does it have a mustache btw?

I wouldn't call it a moustache; it's a few inches too far.

no multiplats are exclusive anymore. Count on it.

Is it me, or all of STAGES posts on the Sony discussion anti-Sony?

Anyways, I'll agree with strategy.
