Forums - Gaming - Should I sell my GTA4?

I was going through my games and am looking to do some late summer cleaning. So I decided to sell Darkness (beat it), VF5, Guitar Hero 3, Frontlines:Fuel of war(Beat it) and Condemned 2 (Bored) and Alone in the Dark.

However I am torn on GTA4.

I won't play it again...and the game could still fetch me decent 30 bucks easily... but there is that downloadable content coming from Microsoft...if thats more of the same, I don't think I'll buy it but what if its something new and amazing?

What to do?

Get rid of it.

Unless you want to pay for DLC that might not be worth it

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

Typically additional downloadable content is almost always by definition more of the same. If it were something "new and amazing" it would probably merit being something more than a download only expansion for an already released game.

I'd sell it. Then again, I didn't really like GTA IV so my opinion is biased (as are all opinions.

You may as well hang on to it.

That way you can try it out anyway.

sell it, was a decent sequal to gta3 but not any of the side games (such a pity)

My gta4 is all dust right now, havent played it for quite some time now.

I would hang on to it with the DLC yet to be released. The DLC could be like Ninja Gaiden II and add more missions to the game. It could just be a new car. I would still hold on until at least the DLC is released. Actually, if you wait for the DLC to get released it may raise the value of the game. Instead of fetching $30 you may get $40 selling it.

Now Playing: Crysis 2

Last Finished: BulletStorm

Online IDs: PSN: computermaximus, XBL: computermaximus

Hmm...thanks guys...everyone has valid points. And I'm still confused. I think I will do what most people do when they are confused...slowly back away from the game.

XGamer0611 has a good point...I'm sure demand may spike when the DLC is released so I may be able to get some more money for it as well as see if the DLC is worth the 1600 ms points.

Just sell it.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S.
