That's me. Didn't like LO. However, I do like character driven games. I just feel that Dragon Quest VIII, Rogue Galaxy, and Dark Cloud 2 have very little character development.
As for Lost Odyssey, the character developement was great for Seth and Jansen, but the rest of the cast was meh, culminating in Kaim, whom I absolutely didn't like, which is unfortunate, him being the main character and all.
Take away the technical issues, reduce loading times to battle, take away all level caps, add voice to the dreams, speed up the pace of random encounters, make my character do 9999 instead of 486 endgame, ramp up the difficulty slowly throughout the game, instead of all at once near the end, and give me one different looking spell or attack at any point during the entire game, and I'd have less to complain about.

I ordered the special edition :D Got my preorder in for Infinite Undiscovery too so I could get the bonus.
The scores ToV have been getting are excellent, considering the niche. But the text speaks volumes more, and it looks like this could be the best in the series yet.
Going to be an excellent september this year!

I seriously don't get it. Change the region locking code, and ship it to UK/AUS/NZ. Same language, profit now.

I think they're having trouble increasing the rendering resolution to 576P...
It is an Xbox 360 game after all, not enough untapped potentialz to raise the resolution by 96 lines....

It looks like a rental I have seen mixed reviews on this game. Gamepro only gave the game 7 out of 10 and said it is for JRPG nuts only. I guess that basically alienates a lot of people from the game.

Gamepro isn't a very reliable reviewer since they generally rate game a little too low or a little too high
