well on the isle of wight its very 360 dominated (well my generation anyways) i thinks it is to do with live and play with ur friends, i dont really no 2 many people with a ps3 so my area is more 360 dominated

I live in Canada. The 360 install base is twice as much as the PS3 here so I hear alot of PS3 bashing. The numbers have started to even out though. Out of my friends that own a next generation console, I would say most of them own the Wii at this point.

i have a ton of friends with 360s and Wiis. Probably more with 360s than Wiis. I have two friends with PS3s -- one has a PS3 has his only console and one has a PS3/360/Wii. The PS3/360/Wii owner has zero PS3 games (he has had the system for 6 months), about 25 360 games, and about 15 Wii games. The other friend with a PS3 has Burnout: Paradise.

They both just use it as a BD player.

It must be noted, however, that I don't know who has or hasn't got a Wii. I found out my uncle has a Wii about a month ago, yet he's had it since launch.

Well for the longest time everyone I know (I am a youth minister so most of the people i know that play games are teenagers) everyone had or was getting a 360. In the last year, however, more and more people are getting a ps3 and many of the teens have trouble (even though they are affluent) with getting xbox live because of the needing a credit card thing and reluctant parents. This is pushing more of them towards ps3s.

Wiis are only popular with the younger kids and not one of the people who have the ps3 or 360 and the wii play the wii very much. People played brawl for about a week.
