The CEO of Tecmo have revealed to Bloomberg that, the critically acclaimed Ninja Gaiden series which has been lauded as one of the most intense and exciting action video games ever created have already sold 450,000 worldwide.

Probably shipped but still half a mill.

That's shipped. It's been out in Japan for nearly a month and probably hasn't hit 80,000. I love me some Ninja Gaiden, but I don't expect it to burn up the charts.
