The Wii already has one, it's called Twilight Princess.
After Majora's mask and Wind Waker, TP really did feel like the next step after OoT (but I enjoyed both of those games aswell). The DS lacks a traditional Zelda title 2D or 3D and a remake would be perfect because it won't get blasted for taking a step back gameplay wise after PH because people would expect gameplay to be non-stylus if it was a remake.
Both Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past resemble the recent Twilight Princess; I'd much prefer a Majora's Mask remake.
My themeforest portfolio:
neither, I would rather have a new epic zelda.

yeah id prefer a new one, wjich were getting anyway

Games need to stop being remade outright. It is a sign of a lazy company who can't find anything original to do or write. A continuation of recycling old games with new graphics will make the industry grow stagnant. That's pretty much what caused the movie industry to falter to the videogame industry in the first place - too many movie remakes.
I think that if developers want to preserve an old title, the best way is to use those characters in a new story. A sequel with an original story is far better than a remake.
| KZ2 said: A Link to the Past that would be a great remake. Zelda Ocarina of Time appeared on the GC which was an enhanced version of the N64 original. |
It appeared on GC but it was a direct port of the original with no enhancements. The Master Quest version was just a port of the much more difficult Master Quest OOT that was available only in Japan.

NO! i am 100% against remakes i would rather have a new title that aims to outdo the old ones ....just leave the classics untouched
For me remakes are only worth it if the original game is so old to the point of not being playable.
The games that falls under this that comes to mind at the moment is Fire Emblem DS, the original is so old and slow so an update is understandable.
But there is also Kirby Super Star Ultra, the remake of Kirby Super Star on the SNES, to this day i don't understand why they remaked it?? the game is visually and gameplay wise is a masterpice, Does it really need an update??
And don't get me started on Chrono Trigger...>_>
