This time around, I ask that we speculate what happened to two game characters you might remember, but did not exactly, "make it big". These guys are two "Gs" but nowhere near intimidating. I start off with:

Gex the Gecko, who starred in 3 games during the 90s and his share of fame. However after Gex 3, he was never seen again. I'm thinking his college roomate, the Geico Gecko, is the one enjoying the success now, while Gex is a burnt out agent, selling shades like the one pictured above in a mall section of LensCrafters. Oh well.............

The second G I'm thinking of is:

Glover! I remember playing this game briefly, and while it had its moments, it didn't deserve a sequel. However, besides its mixed reviews, the real nail in the coffin was his feud with the Hand from Hamburger Helper. Glover didn't exactly come out on top in that one and was quickly replaced in gaming by the Master Hand from Super Smash Bros due to the PR fallout. He was considered useless because of his lack of a 5th finger slot and will probably never be seen again.

So, that's the end of What happened to:. What do you think happened to these two "Gs"?

Ha, I remember renting Gex a couple times on N64, it was pretty fun at the time.

Gex and Glover were alright, but if I went back and played them now, they would probably be wack.

Great Post. It's been a while since I played that game. Some of those stupid phrases have been burned in my brain and pop up every once in a while. Most notable are "Welcome to under this old house" and "hmm www.dork.com"
