LBP will be huge.

Just in case people didn't realize what was going on, that guy was explaining tools and adding/removing things as he was explaining it. So if you know what you were going to do from the get go, that would have probably taken about 5 minutes to put together for those 3 people.

I just have a feeling were going to get a few "ZOMG 20 mins to put together 5 mins worth of play!!11!!" comments in here, but if you watch carefully you can see the guy pointing to the the screen and removing things that are added, etc.

It's called sharing teto.
You can play other people's levels too, you don't just build nonstop and play for a few minutes.
If every other person who will buy LBP spent 20 mins in making a level,then you'd have enough levels to play all night, and possibly the whole week if they make more. Building a level and watching it come together is part of the fun but you can completely skip it if you want.

Me? I plan on just building a few levels, 1 atleast 3 tops(Maybe more), spend days improving it, making it longer, more aesthetically pleasing and generally making it more enjoyable.

I'm really curious to see what other people can come up with.

i've wondered want LBP is all about. while it looks cool that you can create your own levels and download others, i question the mass appeal everyone speaks about.

i like to play games, not make them. the hardcore will really love this game. and hopefully the hardcore will know what they are doing in order to create levels that the casual consumer will want to download and keep playing.

it will be interesting to see how this game plays out with the masses.

 Jesus fuck iclim why does everyone think this game is just about making your own levels. Its like they think you pop it in and your forced to make a level before you play....

the disc comes preloaded with like 50 already made stages you can play once you pop the disc in. whoever thinks you have to to create levels first before you can play the game is an idiot.
