Agreed, talkingparrot probably meant to lure in people who like Halo3/COD4 style multiplayer FPS games rather than to lure hardcore 360 fanboys.

Killzone 2 seems to take everything which worked best so far in a FPS game and adds some extra flavour, ideas and extreme polish. I really look forward to this game, but I am also very interested to see how Resistance 2's 8 player co-op campaigns turns out to be, which seems to be a very new approach (I am also excited about the amazing looking boss battles regarding this game in general turns out).

Resistance 2 8 player co-op is mainly like a MMORPG hoard and raid game.

New pictures have been posted over at Kotaku. They look quite amazing. There is also a very supporting article written from the industry's most cynical site:

Has it been confirmed that the game doesn't have co-op play? That is the major multiplayer component I look for in my shooters, ever since I played Gears, lol.

I remember someone said that it was rumored that it didn't have it, but I dunno if that's been confirmed or denied.

Otherwise, this game looks great.

It isn't going to be released with it but Guerilla has stated that they are going to patch it in shortly after release along with additional multiplayer features.

 

The game will be patched later. As it stands, the game isn't balanced for coop.

 

If you want Co-op, look at Resistance 2 and Gears 2.  Resistance 2 has EIGHT player co-op.  Gears 2 has the classic 2 player.

Trolling as well?  To be honest, Gears 2 and Left 4 Dead could flop too.  Those games have hype as well.  The reason we are excited about this game is because of how much Sony has worked on it.  Its not just Guerilla Games, but they using people from SCEE, Santa Monica studios, and even working with Insomniac.  This is a joint effort to make an amazing FPS.  Lets not try being fanboys here man.
