Finished upgrading my rig to be able to play Spore and Dawn of War II and then saw Empire: Total War and was glad, I will get this release day.

And I will rule them all with an Iron fist.

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

I used to play Rome total war on the hardest difficulty and I'd still win easily, even with the newer patches. Medieval 2 didn't get me far either. Saddest part about the A. I. is that even an inexperienced human player can be more challenging.

An installment in a long going series of strategy/builder games that are reminiscent of Cæsar series and Civilization. 1404 looks damn good and the previews sound terrific!

I guess Anno shares more with Age of Empires or The Settlers than Empire series, though.

I´m waiting for it, but sure the ai is a problem. If they could work the gameplay to have campaing on multiplay, instead of only batles...ahh the dream.
