Forums - PC - Quest for Glory II VGA / AGDInteractive

Is anyone else pumped for this game?

This is a free, fan-made project that's scheduled to be released in about 12 hours from now (I think).

I have an exported character from Quest for Glory I VGA that I just produced after playing through the game with spectacular MT-32 sound.

When it's ready, the download link should be available at: http://www.agdinteractive.com/

Has anyone else played Al Emmo? I could stand the puzzles, but not the main character's voice. Anyway, AGD Interactive (formerly Tierra) have done some awesome fan remakes in the past (KQ1VGA, KQ2VGA+) even if their original works are a little lacking.

I should try it out when its out, is the first one out? Other VGA remakes are King's quest 1,2 and 3.

@OP
I love you. This is one of the few games that I logged MASSIVE amount of hours on. I always wanted a QFG1: So you want to be a Hero character. But the original disks had a virus on them. I had a work around, but I also had a 100% crash after the door puzzle room. I love this game and produced a max mage, fighter thief.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

It is now available for download (87MB). It works fine in Ubuntu using Wine.

Thanks a lot Gurok. It brings back a lot of memories from my youth. (QFG3 was my first computer game)

Downloaded this during lunch and can't wait to play this game again tonight!

Yes 3. They sold rope to the thief, I think.
