It does not talk about, at least in this place, about BC. As far as BC being overblown, I was in a Gamestop that just opened on Thursday. They had the original PS3 promo playing. Sony was trumping how the PS3 was the only conosle that had full BC. So it is overblown because Sony pulled it and in the minds of some who have not gotten over it, has blown it. Plus, while $35 sounds like a lot of money for hardware, how much money will it cost in patches and programming? Mike from Morgantown Who was looking forward to buying a PS3 until BC was pulled. |
Can't say I'm convinced, seeing as how the 80GB MGS4 bundle has been available since June, even if it has been limited in availability. And of course, there was the Motorstorm bundle with the same MoBo.
What you're probably trying to say is that you want a 60GB MoBo SKU for $299-399 or less, which is not going to happen any time soon, most likely never.
$35 in added production costs is only nothing to the consumer, when it rides on the assumption that the manufacturer eats the cost by charging no more for the feature.
Do your self a favor, and don't buy a PS3.
Wait a year or two when they're a lot cheaper and in all likelihood software emulation will be available.
