Forums - Sales - Wii can be the best seller not only in this gen but ever.

"Alright lets stop predicting, because if the wii just stops selling your whole theory is dead, and anything is possible."

Exactly and none of the big games scheduled for release this holiday season are Wii games much to the chagrin of Nintendo fans. However, now that I've pointed this out, they'll all rush on here and say Cursed Mountain is the most highly anticipated game in history and if you don't agree with them, some of the mods might ban you.

My most anticipated games:  Whatever Hideo Kojima is going to do next, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Alan Wake, Wii Sports Resort.  Cave Story Wiiware.

It should be noted that software isn't pushing hardware this generation. Halo 3 and MGS4 were the only games to push theirn respective console. Just becuase it has "the games" doesn't mean it wont outsell them both this holiday and beyond.

Like it or not, Animal Crossing and Wii Music will be the biggest 2 games released this holiday season.

Mario Kart and Wii Fit are both going to be making a run for the combined total of GTAIV (I think i will be January before they pass it though)

No Cursed mountain is not anticipated... but what does anticipation do for games like Lair or Haze? or the supposedly not so good Too Human? Yeah that's right, fuck all.

Animal Crossing is the biggest franchise being released this holiday season as I seem to recall. Or is a franchise that can sell nearly 10 million copies of a game not big enough for you?

I save it up for special occasions.

LOL, this generation could make a good Game & Watch game.
You'd see HD proponents moving the goal posts, and the Wii could still score despite that.
The goal would be to rip off the head or limbs of the HD proponents goal posts movers, one after another, all while scoring.

The Playstation 2 launched in Japan way before America or PAL, although I'm not sure of the exact dates. When you align the launches of all regions combined for both the Wii and the PS2, you'll see that while the Wii is ahead, it's not winning by as large a margin as you described. And the difference between the PS2 and PS3 is much larger. I'm sure the Wii will sell more than the PS2, but the DS is the winner of this generation anyways.

It's not as large a margin as he described, Wii is "just" about 5 million ahead of PS2 if you separate all different regions launching, Japan being the closest territory with the Wii edging PS2 by .5 million,  Others having Wii ahead by 1.9 million, and NorthAmerica having the biggest gap with 2.5 million.

Wii will outsell all the previous Nintendo consoles combined.
