I think it will be a fun game that you should definitely pick up if you have a bunch of friends over all the time, and they want a party game/bridge title. I think it will get AAA reviews all around, because at the very least, previewers would feel like hypocrits if they didn't. I think a few LBP reviews are already written, just from playing a demo. I don't think they'll all be trustworty, and the game will very likely be over-rated, thanks to extra "innovation" points, and if the game is really AAA, then it will probably be the highest rated game of all time. I'm still not buying that I'll have more fun with this game setting around playing it by myself at 5:00 AM, than I would with Resistance 2.

 

I believe you can co-op online as well.  nice plug for Resistance 2...how many games can we put into this one thread?  heh...

These are two completely different genres.  Its like asking someone would they like a steak or a chocolate bar?

Exactly. Very well put. My point exactly. Except, lets use steak and sushi.

Now, I like sushi. It's great.

However, sushi doesn't run me 60 bucks a meal plus tax.

Therefore, when it comes to videogames, I'm a cowboy.

You can't sell a cowboy, sushi.

 

Now, I try not to have an opinion on this game, but your post, inviting doubters to enter, kinda makes me want to present my opinion. I would ask you all, not to say anything negative about it. It's a fair opinion, and very well reasoned. Nobody has said anything negative about the game, and that includes me. I simply inferred that the game probably isn't for me, judging by previews. That's a fair assumption, I think. My pointing at R2 and Disgaea 3, were just attempts to let you know what games I do consider interesting.

Unlike other posters on this subject. I won't be hijacked and bushwacked on this topic, just because I gave my opinion. If I become afraid to give it, then the fanboys win.

I can see how this game is appealing to many people and I can see how it would get great reviews... But I wouldn't buy it. I would rent it at best. I can see how it can be fun for few hours but I'd get bored with it afterwards.

Sackboys are cute though... I wish I had one of them plushies! (See I rather have a plushie than the game!)

Oh and the title of the thread should be ''You have to like LBP and have the same opinion as me otherwise I put the PS3 hater stamp on you.''

I don't hate the PS3, my bf owns it (he's not interested at all in LBP either but he doesn't like platforming), I've seen many videos of the game but this is how I feel about it. In no way I'm saying it's bad, many people will enjoy it but it doesn't make me want it. My opinion.

I don't have an issue with your post.  However, alot of people in here have been talking about the game's sales, when all we are doing is talking about it being a quality title.

i think thers like 10 percent of a thread not turning into a flamefest on this board XD i think its pretty funny.


Anyways. Game looks good but this thread was made of random.. well atleast it went from alright to the random area :P
