 Mine or his? If its mine then I want you to re-read this thread and find the guy who says the game will be bad. I feel a strange urge to reply when someone makes a comment that is completely out of touch with reality.

who were the guys to first review Too human ? wasnt it Gamepro or something because if i remember rightly they said at the end of the demo Too human will make you feel like a god
so it shows that previews are not going to be the real deal LBP wont get a higher metacritic than 85%

Lol, you are funny Gnizmo. There's no victim card, only a heap of negativity towards what could actually be a stellar game. Comparing this to Okami is an instant fail in my book.
You'll find a similar tone in almost all the LBP threads and it gets really old really fast.

PS: I don't even own a PS3 and I probably won't for a long time. Why? Not enough good games, which is why I hope LBP will remedy the situation. Don't take things so seriously and personally, insulting me won't do much good (yes, that was rather an insulting and uncalled for post).

 I'll give you insulting, but not uncalled for and not personal. Normally I enjoy your posts as they tend to be inteligent and well thought out. The one you made here is completely out of touch though. The post was completely called for though. In no way shape or form has even one person implied this game will be bad. The reason it gets compared to Okami so often is because it was a stellar game that sadly didn't turn into a commercial blockbuster despite most internet gamers thinking it should be.What these threads normally involve is everyone saying the game will be great and then debating how well it will sell. Apparently saying it will "only" serll 2 million is bashing the game.

I guess the biggest problem for me (excluding price) would be the removal of BC. I mean, i didn't own a ps2 or anything, so i guess it shouldn't affect my decision, but it seems so wrong to exclude a feature that should've already been in the console. Besides, now i can't play MGS 2 and 3 w/o buying a ps2 (played Twin Snakes and luved it).

I could w/o FPS's, but meh, i just wanto play another decent one.

I guess the question isn't 'if' I buy a ps3, just 'when' I'll stop procrastinating and pick one up.

Since the PS3 launched there have been more games that were "100% Guaranteed AAA 5+ Million sellers" than any other system (according to PS3 fans) and yet the PS3 doesn't have a single 5+ Million selling game, and many of these games failed to be decent quality games. Now, whenever one of these games was brought up anyone who didn't agree with they hype was "bashing" these games.

The most annoying thing is that after all this hype when the games do not meet these unrealistic expectations the PS3 fans are never willing to accept the comeuppance, and will claim that a game (like Lair or Haze) was never hyped at all.

Every system has their fair share of duds.  Remember King Kong, Perfect Dark Zero, or Too Human?  Eventually you get a game like Mass Effect, Dead Rising, and Bioshock.

Well the PS3 has its fair share as well.  Than it finally got Ratchet and Clank, Warhawk, Uncharted Drakes Fortune, all those innovative PSN titles, and most importantly MGS4.  You have an anti-PS3 history, so I understand why you wrote what you did.
