How do we judge the "price-cut effect"?

Its the effect of the price cut and tracking the Xbox360 games.

Huh I don't get this in order to compare the effect of the price cut on software sales you'd need to look at an alternate dimension where the 360 didn't have a price cut. Using different titles for comparison is just illogical.

Please.....leave the "new thread" button alone , it can't take any more.

The price cut wont have any effect. Did the last one help?

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

Im looking for a spike in software sales for games like Tales of Vesperia etc.

Im also interested in just tracking the software sales for these games out of interest.

As the 360 creeps into the price conscious consumer territory, it will have a negative impact on its attach rate. This is a problem when you dip below the $200 price point. You need to make money on the console, which in Microsoft's case is unlikely this soon to release.

It's not hopeless, the Wii is at mass market price point and Nintendo is able to move software. But they also make money on the console.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.
