Forums - Nintendo - IMO, Twilight Princess is an utter failure and a complete disappointment

Huh. Weird. I extremely enjoyed Twilight Princess. Was sad when it was over. I feel pity for those that erase their save and then dispise Twilight Princess

I loved Twilight Princess and hated Oncarina of Time, so we're even. ;)

Hahaha....yeah, we all have our opinions.  I just wish people would believe me when I say that my opinion of TP is not tarnished by me deleting my game.

My g/f hates all Zelda games (which I find weird cuz she usually likes all the games I have).  She thinks they are cheesy and stupid (and who can blame her, "You've got the chicken egg!")

what about a Zelda RPG? you know, hit points and all...different swords, shields, armor to buy? there could be hyrule and the lands surrounding it. towns, villages, actual NPC's that are relevant to the game!!!!

or would that topic just do nothing but infuriate the flamers on here...saying "we don't want our precious Zelda series turned into some Final Fantasy "never ending" crap!?)

But 2 Hours is barely the start of the game. It took me 80 hours to complete plus a decent amount of scavenging.

Personally, I really enjoyed Twilight Princess. The only thing I didn't like was the fishing in the beginning.

snap it happens. mistakes happen like that. TP is my first Zelda game i sat and played. TP is probably one of the few good looking games for the wii. You even played it twice. I would have sold the game after deleting lol.

I honestly find that "right combination of buttons through sitting down on the controller to delete the file" completely funny because it sounds so made up.. you said you turned on the wii.. that means, by sitting on the controller, you pointed at the disc channel, clicked start, pressed A+B together, chose to erase a file, and selected THAT file, and confirmed it.. pretty believable

If you had picked up the controller, and gone into the game, and gone past the intro screen, i don't see how you could accidently sit on it, no matter how tired you are

I actually thought Twilight Princess was exceptional. But that is why an opinion is just an opinion.

I will say that I am intrigued by the Zelda Timeline theories.
I was kind of hoping that this would link Wind Waker with the OoT in some way. (Such as Link vanishing into the Twilight Realm or raindrops in the last sequence)

As a matter of fact, if you add those two plot points into the story, I would say hands down it would go from being a "good" to the "best" Zelda story.

My twopence

Of course, if you don't like a Zelda game then you are stupid...

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

tabsina, why does what i say sound made up? first of all, i wouldn't waste my precious time on this board making these posts up.

second, haven't you ever accidentally hit a combination of keys on your computer keyboard that closed a window you were working on or did something strange to the program you were working in?

forget it, i'm tired of explaining myself to mouthbreathers. i'm done with this topic, sorry i brought it up.

Pfft. Twilight Princess was great. I enjoyed the overall game, storyline and all. I have no interest on going through a second time, but I haven't done that on a Zelda game since a Link to the Past. Too much involved since then.
