@Rol: Maybe that was just the thing that the Sega reps were meaning...

@markers: I just noticed, that it's not just your topics that make me feel like your avatar. But anyway, Segas Realitycast was what happened after Dreamcast.

you are very repetitive. isnt the first time you've said that but atleast you read my post/threads. makes me all warm and fuzzy like your avatar :]

Last time i was talking about just your topics. I do read them, they're usually not dumb at all, you just don't know how to write posts in a fashion that makes people interested in them, unlike me and D21Lewis.

Yes, the fur is nice and warm during the winter. By the way, i shaved my genitals if you want to know.

lol thanks for letting me know of your clean shaved genitals. but you must teach me how to write my posts better, so i can grab the attention of the readers that is

it's business nothing personal as they would say. After all they both suffered at the hands of Sony. NINTY has only done well this gen after what the damage the ps1 and ps2 done.

Sega will go where the money is being a 3rd party developer and at the moment there is a lot of money sitting with the WII and DS. Easy and cheap to develop for and money to be made. Why would they say no?

I wouldn't say irony, i would say good business strategy.

I see what you're saying.  I'm saying that if Nintendon't do what it did and allowed Sony to enter the console race.. Sega would probably still have a console and be against Nintendo.

fixed. n_n

Genesis does CD, Nintendon't.Sony wanted to bring CD to Nintendo, Nintendon't.Sony left and made their own console. Sony has Final Fantasy on the next gen, Nintendon't.

SEGA!!!

Thanks to that irony, it seems that the third party developer/publisher that understands Wii the most is SEGA. In the past, both were integrated hardware/software companies focused in gaming, this is strenght that Sony and Microsoft don't have.

I completely agree. Further more neither Sega or Nintendo had other considerations in their business focus. It was all for kids, whether in Segas case toys or Nintys, just games, they only had one focus.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
