It's been some years since I took German, but I'm sure (and Google traductor confirms it) that there Reeves said that Mirror's Edge would release this year only for PS3, 360 and PC versions will come in 2009. True story? It's possible, given that the game was always showcased in PS3 hardware, that Sony may have secured a timed-exclusivity. Of course, this woudln't be the game I choose for that, as I don't think it'd sell that well, but whatever

I took the whole paragraph to Google, and it's strange, DICE should know wether it's or not timed-exclusive. Though Sony could have worked a deal with EA

" According to Reeves Mirrors Edge will initially exclusively for the PS3 this year. The PC and Xbox 360 versions would follow much later. The developers of DICE for Electronic Arts this statement could not confirm, however: "That we know so far nothing. But it is possible that there is collusion at the highest level, of which we are still not informed." So far, the developers assume that mirrors Edge at year-end PS3, Xbox 360 and PC simultaneously.

I think if your interpretation is correct that such a statement would be clarified by noon tomorrow. This is not typical of Electronic Arts, and more to the point the bare bones presentation of the game does not strike me as technically limiting. What would be more limiting is the overabundance of titles this holiday season. I honestly do not expect to see this title this year at all.

Fixed. Rolling and jumping in first person view, I'm pretty sure there are people that will get sick from that, hell my friend gets a little dizzy from FPS and this is waaay more movement involved. Anyways, this game looks OK, doesn't seem like a MAJOR game so I think that Sony possibly buying Time exclusivity for this game is a dumb move. Now Fallout 3, that'd be a big game or Rock Band 2...oh wait MS beat sony to it.
