Forums - Sony - Anyone else underwhelmed by Force Unleashed demo?

A bad demo can kill a good game. The Simpsons Game demo started halfway through the game. I thought the game was horrid. After buying the game, it turned out to be great.

While I don't think Star Wars TFU is nearly as bad, I know the final game should be an awesome experience. Just download some of the available documentaries and trailers. The game is a must buy for me!

Around the Network

It was ok, but there are alot better games coming out around the same time like Fallout 3 and Little Big Planet.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Have yet to play it, but I was never really excited in the first place. Its a Star Wars game...by LucasArts...those haven't been good for awhile.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

While I enjoyed the spectacle, I was really annoyed by the a) camera and b) targeting.
Fighting the baddy at the end, and my force push would target tiny Stormtroopers then the boos who happened to be in the middle of the screen... WTF?
