Starting to look very solid. Looks like a certain purchase for me

Now from a completely honest perspective, I don't see why I should be pumped for this over Resistance 2, or Killzone 2. Improved aiming is great, but aside from that, what exactly is it offering that I can't get better on a different system? when other games are offering 60 player online, huge epic battles, and incredible monsters, this seems unbelievably dated. The wii has it's strong points but it simply can't compete with the other systems on their own turf. Looking at the boss battle from the conduit and then looking at the giant monster battle from Resistance 2, this seems like something I will pick up in the bargain bin later rather than something I would be pumped about now.

I really don't understand this bigger is better assumption when it comes to online FPS games. My enjoyment takes a sharp downward slope after 24 people are on a game server as the sheer size of the enemy force neutralizes my ability to make a difference on the battlefield. When I'm on fire and kill a half dozen enemies, I want to see my team push forward, not hit a brick wall because the enemy team is spawning in faster than I can kill them. I know teamwork is supposed to be a factor, but I'd rather be a hero than a cog in the machine.

The same argument can be made for why going to console shooters when PC shooters are so much better in size/graphics/etc.

Hope this turns out to be good.

yeah i hope so too

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

The video quality looks pretty meh. Regardless, I'll still be picking this game up because FPS on the Wii is a must.

I've been looking for a good shooter for the Wii and this looks like my choice.

I've been spoiled by the Wiimote and I can't play regular FPSes with controllers anymore...

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks
