Now from a completely honest perspective, I don't see why I should be pumped for this over Resistance 2, or Killzone 2. Improved aiming is great, but aside from that, what exactly is it offering that I can't get better on a different system? when other games are offering 60 player online, huge epic battles, and incredible monsters, this seems unbelievably dated. The wii has it's strong points but it simply can't compete with the other systems on their own turf. Looking at the boss battle from the conduit and then looking at the giant monster battle from Resistance 2, this seems like something I will pick up in the bargain bin later rather than something I would be pumped about now.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

because we've already done big battles and killed huge monsters with 2 joysticks since 2001.
I guess it's all whether or not the wiimote aiming entices you or not.
Here's a video from my band's last show Check out more (bigger) videos here http://www.youtube.com/user/icemanout

Well allot of the games on 360/PS3 don’t offer anything new. Its not that it’s something new about the game it looks cool and seems too play good and with the pointer it will be grate. a game doesn’t need too be different too be good.

it is really an opinion call, just because someone is content with something that you are not,
HL2 had pretty much none of those (i haven't finished it yet, so pardon me if i'm wrong) and it is still one of the most amazing games i've ever played.. personally 60 player online means jack all to me, as 60 of my friends won't own this game (or resistance) and i don't give a crap about playing against people i don't know, as they just feel like advanced cpu to me..
While some features would be great to have in addition to what is going to be available in this game, it is just the beginning of the fps genre on the wii, and i welcome it, and i can see why people would want the game right away
i personally am still waiting to know more about it, but haven't been disappointed with any of the showings yet
Was a must buy even before watching the video. After the video, I'm definitely reserving a copy.
cant wait for next year, im defiantly buying this
I'm sorry, I know everyone is saying that "the textures don't look good" and "everything looks good except for the textures", but my question is this, how could anyone really tell what the textures looked like in that video? I mean ya, going by past higher res videos it is easier to tell, but this?
I don't know, maybe some of you have some super HD vision, but to me it is just too hard to tell what the "textures" look like.

If you look at a surface, and it looks like a flat color, that means the texturing is weak. Take a road. It's pretty much all gray, while most games now have scattered dots of diffrent shades of gray to simulate pavement.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
